CHVRCHES + Metric blast Basilica in Minneapolis with electric sets

Electro-pop band CHVRCHES headlined the Preferred One stage at Basilica Block Party on Saturday, July 13th. No strangers to the Twin Cities, the Glasgow, Scotland based artists enthralled a huge sprawling crowd right in front the the Basilica of St. Mary church. It was an amazing performance, and one of the best sets I’ve seen all year.

Metric played the same stage before Chvrches and came with blazing with a very high-energy set of their own. Led by Emily Haines, the Canadian indie-rock band ripped through an hour long set in the sweltering summer heat and impressed everyone with an awesome danceable set.
