Ani DiFranco celebrates birthday at First Avenue

The venerable Ani DiFranco played to a comfortably full mainroom at First Avenue in Minneapolis on Sunday, September 23rd. Visibly pregnant and celebrating her 42nd birthday, a smile rarely left the folk singer’s face all night. The mostly-female crowd was all smiles as well.
