A Giant Dog brought their glam punk to Icehouse in Minneapols

Austin, TX based glam-punk outfit A Giant Dog played a raucous fun show at Icehouse in Minneapolis on a cold early autumn evening. Supporting their August release of Bite (on Merge Records), the band ripped through their set vigorously and those in the meagerly-filled venue were jumping along all night. Song after song the intensity built as singer, Sabrina Ellis, wailed and pranced around the stage. I had been somewhat familiar with their music but was blown away by the performance to the point where I was headbanging all the way home. I am a new fan.
