Telekinesis, The Love Language and Red Pens at The Entry

Seattle indie-rockers, Telekinesis, made an appearance at the 7th Street Entry on Wednesday, March 2nd.  They were supported by Merge Records label-mates, The Love Language, and local fuzz-rock duo, Red Pens, who were surprised at how large the crowd was for their set.  The Red Pens put on a great set, followed by The Love Language who had an abundance of fans moving in the crowd.  The Love Language played with emotion, and according to Michael Benjamin Lerner of Telekinesis, they put on the their best set of the tour thus far.

Telekinesis were interesting.  Michael Benjamin Lerner leads the band, crash-boom-bang behind a 26″ bass drum.  Both of their albums were produced by Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie, and that influence is slightly obvious in their sound.  The band is generating a buzz.
