The Rural Alberta Advantage at First Avenue

Toronto, Ontario based folk-rock trio, The Rural Alberta Advantage, stormed the mainroom at First Avenue on Saturday, September 24th with a banging percussive set.  Opening the night was the minimalist quartet from Madison, WI, All Tiny Creatures.  First Avenue was very slow to fill, but by the time The Rural Alberta Advantage hit the stage, the iconic Minneapolis venue was near capacity.  The Rural Alberta Advantage were very grateful to have such a large crowd in Minneapolis once again.  And the fans ate up the performance attentively, although with little movement during the set.
