CSS and IO Echo at Fine Line in Minneapolis

Brazilian experimental-pop band CSS played at Fine Line Music Cafe in Minneapolis, MN on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. They were joined by the fantastic Los Angeles band IO Echo whose short set blasted through a thick veil of fog.

The mostly young and relatively sparse crowd bounced to the dancy grooves all night, with plenty of room around them to get down, bringing the heat of the Fine Line up high. CSS is led by Lovefoxxx, who jumped around the stage incessantly, slowly shedding layers of clothes as the night progressed. She at times made it feel like an upbeat pop burlesque show. It was interesting.
