James Blake blasts First Avenue in Minneapolis with bass and melody

James Blake, the English electronic musician and songwriter blasted a sold out First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN with heavy bass and light melodies on Wednesday, May 1. Blake is currently touring the US in support of his 2013 release Overgrown. He and his two accompanying musician sounded quite nice, and the mostly very young crowd seemed to appreciate it as well. It has been a long time since I have seen so many Xs on hands (under 21). FaltyDL opened the show twisting dials and pushing buttons on his macbook. His electronic set was a good primer for James Blake.
