Festival Palomino 2016

Festival Palomino 2016 Photo Review

Festival Palomino 2016 was a huge success. Much like the 2015 Festival, the weather could not have been nicer with the sun shining down all day, and later, a nearly full moon lit up the sky behind the stage. A large crowd of rock and roots music fans filled Historic Hall’s Island on the Mississippi River in Minneapolis and great times were had once again.

Trampled By Turtles curated an eclectic lineup for 2016 including both local, national, and international artists. Frightened Rabbit, Jake Bugg, Houndmouth, and Andrew Bird all gave the crowd amazing performances. The Arcs, led by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, gave the performance of the day however. It was fuzzy, loud, and blissfully awesome. Thank you Trampled By Turtles and Festival Palomino for another wonderful experience.
